This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the Arthouse app for iPhone (“the app”) and this website. The short version: your photos stay on your device, and we don’t collect personal data about you.

Your photos

Arthouse asks for access to your photo library so you can add photos to your projects. All editing happens on your device. We never upload, collect or analyze your photos, and no server of ours ever receives them. If you save or share an edit, it goes only where you choose to send it.

You can change or revoke photo access at any time in the iOS Settings app, under Arthouse.

No accounts, ads or tracking

Arthouse has no user accounts. The app shows no ads, does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. Your projects and settings are stored only on your device, and deleting the app deletes them.

Purchases

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your name, email address or payment details. The app checks what you have purchased on your device, using Apple’s StoreKit. Apple’s handling of your data is described in the Apple Privacy Policy.

Crash reports

If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in iOS settings, Apple may pass us crash reports and anonymous usage statistics. We use them only to find and fix problems. You can turn this off in Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.

Email

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you and to improve Arthouse, never for marketing, and we delete it once it is no longer needed. Our email is hosted by Proton AG in Switzerland.

This website

This website is hosted by Cloudflare. When you visit it, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse. We don’t use cookies, analytics or any other tracking on this website.

Children

Arthouse is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including in the European Union, you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict its processing. Because the app collects no personal data, in practice this concerns emails you have sent us. To use any of these rights, contact us at the address below. You can also complain to a data protection authority; in Estonia, where Arthouse is based, that is the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. If the app ever starts collecting new kinds of data, this policy will say so before that version is released.
